At first I looked at this and wondered what the deal was. Were you displaying your remarkable artistic talent for arranging furniture? Perhaps your uncanny knack for capturing good light as it comes into a room? Then I saw it was a render, and after many failed attempts at convincing myself I'm not a moron, decided to comment on your uncommonly remarkable work. Grats.
wonderful work, I was really had to check twice if I was looking at a photo or not, the only things that give it away for me are the floor (maybe a little too blurry or reflective?) and the fruit (just a bit too bright I think...) apart from those things it's pretty much perfect and I'm very impressed, I thought it would take a team of renderers several weeks to make something so well balanced...
The actual design of the room is quite daring too, I love the huge window right beside the sitting area and the circle designs above and below, while the light seems particularly unusual, will you be adding it as a lit feature in a future version? I'd be most interested to see how it looks/works
Everything is sooo gooood here! Mats, lighting, geometry, all is perfectly fine-tuned! I just knew it was rendered with VRAY. I have recently discovered this great software and i'm vary satisfied from the results. The curtain here looks impressing, like the real one! And the plasma fits great in this room. Keep up v-raying
Get the fuck outta here and go design sets for PIXAR you talented person you! *fistshake* Really, have you thought about an internship as a technical director? (They're offering you know...) They use 'Renderman' software though; dunno about 3DMAX.
